General Information on Vibro-Pads

Each set of Universal Acoustics Vibro-Pads includes not only 4 x 100mm wide x 300mm deep pads, but also an additional set of 4 x 50mm half width pads, which can be used to support and decouple other items in your studio such as a laptop, computer keyboard, a further set of small monitors, a DVD/CD player/burner, turntable or Indeed anything that can resonate that would benefit from isolation from your workstation surface, rack, speaker stands or shelving.

Installation

Each base pad includes its own pre-cut leveling wedge adjuster, which, in standard position, will provide a level surface. Alternatively the leveling wedge adjuster can be removed to provide either a 5º or 10º slope, angled up or down, according to which way round the base pad is resting.

Fully dimensioned drawings for both 100mm and 50mm wide Vibro-Pads are available on request.

Performance

Whichever Vibro-Pad position is utilized we guarantee that your monitors will provide a noticeable sonic improvement and your recordings will sound more accurate and defined once the vibration and resonance has been removed. Your studio monitors are the most critical components that you use in evaluating your recordings and their full performance can only be truly revealed once vibration has been removed and total isolation achieved.

Material

Manufactured in a dark charcoal colour from a specially selected 65kg/m³ density, high load bearing hard foam, Vibro- Pads will perform over a long life, demonstrating true resilience to compression and will not fatigue during use, resulting in years of improved listening quality within your studio or audio environment.
